Project Client: Taizhou Highway Development Center
Location: Taizhou City, Jiangsu Province, China
Area: 50 km
Work Period: December 2023 – May 2024
Service to Scope: Design and implementation of a highway digital twin platform, including data infrastructure, digital twin applications, data integration, digital twin engine, and rendering server
Rooted in digital efficiency and powered by new infrastructure, the project drives highway digital transformation. Using digital twin technology, it builds a “single-screen management” platform for the Taizhou section of G328, enabling real-time monitoring, emergency response, maintenance, and decision support.
Advancing the Digital Twin Highway Project presents significant challenges, as it must tackle the substantial project scale and extended development timeline, while simultaneously managing vast volumes of oblique photography model data and fulfilling stringent demands for high-quality visualization effects. Faced with complex road conditions and diverse management needs, the platform overcomes key challenges like large-scale model loading, lightweight visualization, and multi-system data integration.
Through pilot application, the Delauney team established a scalable digital benchmark for existing highways, empowering asset management, network control, and cross-departmental coordination—advancing the vision of a smart, unified, and efficient highway system.
