Yubei District in Chongqing's main urban area has launched a smart parking management platform to address urban parking challenges, improve traffic order, and enhance the city's image. The district faces prominent conflicts between parking supply and demand, inefficient fee collection systems, and resident inconvenience. Designed and developed by Huashi Group, the project covers 20,000 on-road and roadside parking spaces. Leveraging cloud computing, big data, and IoT technologies, it establishes an intelligent, efficient, convenient, and integrated benchmark for smart parking. The system enables unmanned or minimally manned fee management, providing comprehensive parking services to the government, businesses, and the public while promoting coordinated management of dynamic and static traffic.

     The project faces critical challenges including multi-technology integration, cross-department collaboration, comprehensive data security, and continuous innovation. It requires merging cutting-edge technologies to ensure system stability and compatibility, coordinating diverse stakeholders to align objectives and enable data sharing, and safeguarding data privacy to prevent leaks and misuse.
