Client: Su-Song County Emergency Management Bureau
Location:Su-Song County, An-Qing City, An-Hui Province, China
Area: 18,667 ㎡
Work Period: March 2024 – September 2024
Service to Scope: Low-Altitude Base Design
This project addresses Wujiang District's strategic demands for integrated aerial mobility and emergency preparedness through Jiangsu's exclusive low-altitude support infrastructure. The facility bridges critical gaps in vertiport networks, maintenance capabilities, and coordinated airspace management for helicopters, eVTOLs, and UAVs, establishing standardized operational templates for regional replication.
Project implementation reconciles multi-aircraft compatibility requirements with dense urban geospatial constraints through modular zoning designs. Key challenges included minimizing community impact through noise reduction engineering, reconciling emergency response workflows with routine operational protocols, and synchronizing modular infrastructure with future technology upgrades.
Our interdisciplinary approach implemented geofenced operational zones with real-time noise monitoring, aircraft-specific maintenance workflows, and dual-use operational protocols enabling rapid transition between daily logistics and emergency mobilization. Integrated air traffic management systems synchronize ground facilities with dynamic airspace allocation, demonstrating scalable models for metropolitan aerial service hub development.
