Entails navigating complex property rights (38% public-owned, 49% private, 3% industrial) across 131 households, while revitalizing Ming-Qing era urban fabric amidst structural vulnerabilities (9,538㎡ gross floor area with 67% substandard housing) and acute infrastructure deficits.
Our team has developed context-sensitive heritage adaptation protocols through stakeholder co-creation, establishing Nanjing’s pioneering urban regeneration template. Certified as Jiangsu Province and Nanjing Municipality’s urban renewal exemplar project, the framework prioritizes spatial justice through incremental micro-surgery tactics.
