Work Period: July 2021 – July 2025
Service to Scope: Bridges, Tunnels, and Culverts Periodic and Routine Inspection, with Corresponding Treatment Design for Defects
The Chongqing-Chengdu Expressway features the shortest mileage, fastest speed, greenest technology, and strictest engineering, serving as a landmark project for transportation modernization in Sichuan and Chongqing, and a strategic corridor, industrial corridor, and ecological demonstration road for the Chengdu-Chongqing dual-city economic circle.
The project faces challenges such as a high bridge-tunnel ratio, complex geological conditions, an extended development cycle, and the need for efficient coordinated maintenance of diverse facilities. It covers comprehensive maintenance and inspection of a 78.6-kilometer section, including 54 mainline bridges, 24 ramp bridges, 13 pedestrian overpasses, 285 culverts, and 4 tunnels, requiring synchronized detection and management due to the dense and varied facility types.
With core characteristics of full facility coverage, full-cycle management, high-risk priority, and detailed inspection, it establishes an efficient and scientific expressway inspection and maintenance model through hierarchical inspection cycles, integrated disease treatment design, and a high-frequency regular inspection mechanism.
