Service to Scope: Bridge Maintenance Digital Management System, Maintenance Decision Support

To address issues such as inconsistent data standards, business standards, and decision-making standards for highway bridge maintenance in Jiangsu Province, CDG commissioned the construction of an intelligent decision-making system for highway bridge maintenance starting in 2018.

     The project faced challenges in effectively organizing and managing foundational data for numerous bridge structure types, advancing the digital transformation of bridge maintenance operations, and achieving intelligent decision-making. With over 6,000 expressway bridges in Jiangsu featuring complex structural forms, diverse operational requirements, and high decision-making difficulty, the system demanded specialized expertise. 

     The project team, based on standardized bridge maintenance design, developed system modules for inspection, repair, and decision-making. By designing user-friendly and automated business functions, they promoted effective accumulation of maintenance data within the system. Analyzing this data enhances maintenance decision-making and promotes rational allocation of maintenance resources.
