Service to Scope: Detail Design

This automated people mover system transports passengers between the Third Runway Concourse (TRC) and APM Interchange Station (AIS), serving Terminal 2 while connecting with Terminal 1 and the SkyPier line. The rubber-tired APM system features four tracks, three stations, and one depot, with design covering alignment, clearance requirements, electromechanical systems, and operational processes.

     Key challenges include implementing unmanned driving technology, achieving efficient rapid transfer functions, and ensuring stable rubber-tired system operation. As a core component of the expansion project, it provides high-frequency services with 2.5-minute intervals, reducing transfer times and delivering all-weather seamless connectivity.

     Our team delivered detailed design for alignment, trackwork, system processes, and core electromechanical systems.
