The "Nanjing Eye" Youth Olympic Park Pedestrian Bridge is located on the central axis of the Youth Olympic axis in Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province. Its main bridge adopts a double-tower, double-cable-plane steel box girder cable-stayed design with a main span of 270 meters.
The bridge towers themselves function as urban landscape nodes along the Youth Olympic axis, a design approach that fully embodies the concept of frugality in hosting the Olympics by eliminating the need for separate, standalone landmark structures. This pedestrian bridge serves as a vital link for tourism on both banks of the river.
Its primary function is to accommodate tourist electric vehicles and pedestrians, and it is not designed for motor vehicle traffic. The bridge effectively connects the Youth Olympic Park and the Forest Park located on opposite sides of the river.
