The project is located in the Western Visayas Region (Region VI) of the Philippines. It is a sea-crossing bridge designed to connect Panay Island, Guimaras Island, and Negros Island.
This bridge has a width of 24 meters and a total length of 31.5 kilometers, comprising two segments designated as A and B. The recommended scheme for Segment A, the Panay-Guimaras Sea-Crossing Bridge, features a total route length of approximately 13.00 kilometers, with the sea-crossing bridge itself spanning about 4.97 kilometers and the approaches on both sides totaling 8.03 kilometers in length.
The recommended scheme for Segment B, the Guimaras-Negros Sea-Crossing Bridge, proposes a total main route length of approximately 18.56 kilometers. This includes a sea-crossing bridge length of about 13.10 kilometers, approach sections on both sides summing to 5.46 kilometers, and an additional connecting road measuring 0.84 kilometers in length.
