This reverse L-shaped underground metro line traverses Tongshan, Yunlong, and Development Districts, featuring 16 stations along its approximately 23-kilometer route. CDG provides design service with its in-house railway expertise and innovative technologies to develop the optimal solution for this underground metro line in the urban area.

     Core innovations include a full lifecycle BIM implementation from planning to construction, which has been awarded as a 2023 Jiangsu Provincial BIM Demonstration Project. The line also utilizes GoA4 driverless technology, marking China's first deployment of standardized Type B trains with GoA4 automation for unattended operations. Additionally, the project pioneered the use of the short sleeve shield reception method in Xuzhou to tackle the complex geological strata, including karst caves and liquefied soils.

     The project emphasizes cultural integration, aiming to transform Xuzhou as the Huaihai Economic Hub. Regarding future development, upon its completion, Xuzhou's metro network will expand to four lines, significantly amplifying the city's regional influence and connectivity.
