This project is located in Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province, and includes two stations, two inter-station sections, and one depot access line. Gonghu Wetland Park Station is designed as a two-story above-ground and one-story underground station, featuring a split-level public hall. The equipment area at the western end of the above-ground section is integrated with a comprehensive building. Aoti Center Station is a distinctive underground station with a multi-level, column-free open space, where the middle slab is removed within a 60-meter range of the public area. The section between Gonghu Wetland Park Station and Aoti Center Station, as well as the depot access line, consists of underground shield tunnels and open-cut tunnels. The section between Aoti Center Station and Taihu New City Station is an underground shield tunnel.

     The project connects key passenger flow hubs along its route, including Gonghu Bay Wetland Park, Aoti Center, Wuxi South Station, and the Financial Street. It links the two core areas of Wuxi—Taihu New City and the central old city—and integrates with the Taihu New City transportation hub. This plays a significant role in promoting development along the route and alleviating north-south traffic pressure in the urban center.

     Key project challenges include the integrated design of the station and the depot, as well as the construction of the multi-level, column-free station.
