Location:Taizhou City/Jiangyin City, Jiangsu Province

Work Period: January 2011- October 2014

Service to Scope: Extral Large Suspension Bridge Main Cable Dehumidification System Design and Construction

The main cable dehumidification system for suspension bridges is an anti-corrosion method. It uses pressurized fans to deliver processed dry, clean air into the main cable, reducing internal humidity levels, effectively preventing steel wire corrosion, extending the service life of the cables, and thereby enhancing the bridge's overall longevity. It represents the mainstream direction in suspension bridge cable protection technology.

Project challenges involve addressing super large suspension bridge construction, coordinating multi-disciplinary operations, overcoming high construction difficulties, and achieving entire lifecycle energy-efficient operation. The system comprises multiple subsystems including air treatment, sealing, and sensor-based automatic control systems. Post-implementation, it must ensure at least 20 years of continuous operation to safeguard cable health and longevity, imposing high demands on construction, materials, data acquisition, communications, and full lifecycle energy efficiency.

Our team delivered high-efficiency and high-quality design and engineering services. Leveraging extensive expertise and mature full-process management capabilities, we helped the client achieve optimal cost-effectiveness and expected project goals.
