As the group's first high-speed railway soil and water conservation plan formulation project, it features extended mileage, complex terrain, and high technical difficulty.

     Key challenges included developing effective treatment solutions for complex industrial wastewater components to strictly meet Jiangsu's stringent Grade A standards for pollutant discharge limits, while ensuring cost-effectiveness, operational stability, and sustainability. The team conducted multiple field surveys using drone aerial photography and remote sensing interpretation, incorporating detailed stakeholder feedback to produce a scientifically sound plan that provides robust guidance for the Yangtze River Railway's soil conservation efforts. The project received the Outstanding Plan Award from the Jiangsu Society of Soil and Water Conservation.

     Effluent quality complies with the strictest local standard DB32/4440-2022 (Taihu Region Urban WWTP Discharge Limits) Grade A. The treatment process includes: pretreatment, equalization/emergency tank, hydrolytic acidification, multi-stage A2/O biochemical tank, secondary sedimentation tank, magnetic coagulation sedimentation, denitrification filter, and ozone advanced oxidation.
